This is a Cloggie. Only special people can have one, and it has to be earned.
There are a number of people and companies without whom Clogblogger would probably not exist, so I’d like to thank them here with a Cloggie – the Clogblogger’s very own award for excellence.
First up is Andy Bargery of The London Bloggers’ Meetup Group for creating the competition that inspired me to blog about clogs.
Next I’d like to thank Edial Dekker and Ernst-Jan Pfauth, the organisers of Blog08, who kindly donated the ticket to their conference, and have since featured me on the Blog08 site, and bantered with me about whether or not it’s right to call a chick “mate” (chick-mate… hmmm, I think we may have just coined a new term)
Next on the list are Jennie Sheldon and Jennifer Cox of Essential Travel, the travel company who provided the Clogs with the wings to flap across to Amsterdam (i.e. flights on KLM).
Just in case I lose my clogs or get cloggered over there, Essential Travel have also insured the clogs with their trusty travel insurance.
Gerrit Habermehl of Habermehl has spiced up my in-box by sending photos of his wonderful clog products for me to use and as if that isn’t enough, he’s also promised to find some space for Clogblogger on his wonderful site, which I found thanks to my clever Blog Friend from Dallas, Nathaliewithanh.
Then, just when I started to relax and think that planning for the Blog08 weekend was under control, Haran from Splendid Communications sent me an e-mail to say that Splendid would like to sponsor my clogs, so would I please divulge my top secret clog size. Wow. Rax, the Digital Director at that Splendid place, has already been helpful in rallying his team to create me a Clog-tail… But you’ll have to wait a while longer for that Splendid clog-coction.
To everyone who has helped me so far, DANK U/ Thank you! There’s a lot more clogging up to come.
